Smiling Back to School
Our major target as an organization is to help teenage mothers restore their hope, and dream again for their future without being stuck in the vicious cycle of regrets. In most cases, it requires the mother to go back to school and continue with her studies.
This project supports young mothers back into formal education or vocational skills as a way of helping them to have a bright future not only for them but also for their babies.
This project provides an opportunity for friends and partners to take on a young mother whom they support in achieving their dreams.
Support a Mother to Return to School
Smile Again Families offers the opportunity for mothers to return to school to reach their dreams. These letters are written by young girls who have had to drop out of school but now have hope to dream again with the support of donors. Sponsoring a girl will change their life, so please take some time to read these stories and consider partnering with us to help these girls pursue their dreams and support their children!
This would be a $450 donation per year for 4-8 years if you choose to sponsor the same girl until graduation.

Nayebale Immaculate
GREETINGS TO you all, I am Nayebale Immaculate and I am 18 years old. I am an orphan and I stopped studying when I am 10 years in primary six. My life has been so tough ever since I lost my parents. I started working at that young age as a maid in people’s and it was so tough at that young age that I failed to maintain it. I was chased from that home and I started staying on the streets where I was raped by two men and I got pregnant. Later I realized that I was pregnant by unknown people and it resulted into a miscarriage. Though I got a miscarriage I was left HIV+ which has bothered me a lot.
I have a dream to go back to school and I become a nurse. This will help me to sustain and provide for my life and to improve my standard of living.

I grow up with my mom and we were staying in certain house which wasn’t ours but we were working as keepers just. When the owner returned we were chased from that house, though my mum had a plot of land we had not yet constructed a house on it. Mirembe Mourine
I am Mirembe Mourine and I am 18-year-old studying at st muggaga Vocational S.S and I live with my father and my siblings. I went back to school so that I fulfill my goal of becoming a nurse in the future. In 2021 I got pregnant, I spent 9 months with the pregnancy. I produced the baby in 2022 April 06 at kyanamukaka health center, I produced very well a baby boy called Mbazira Samson Mujuni and nicknamed him Dr. Lordringe because I like my son to be a doctor in future. He is one year and three months old. I left my baby when he is having one month so I went back to school, I took him to day care miles of smiles learning center and Day car and I have to pay school fees for him and all the requirements because his father like mine refused to pay for him school fees. I usually rear animals like pigs and rabbits to pay for my school fees and for my baby. The challenge I have faced I can’t manage to pay fees in a different school because I went back to the same school I was studying from before and I am facing a lot of stigmatization from students and teachers which has affected my performance and self-esteem. I dream to go a different school like Blessed Sacrament Kimaanya where they know less about my teenage pregnancy background and I believe I will perform better there and I become a nurse so that I improve my standard of living as I support my community.
Thank you, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Mirembe Mourine.
